The D&B forum, unveiled today as part of the Windows 95 and MSN launch, currently offers tips on how to review and manage business credit and cash flow and how to market to business prospects, as well as economic and business trend information. Included in the forum are a small business bulletin board moderated daily by a D&B expert, a general business chat area and information on D&B services that are available to order.

"As the world's leading provider of business information, Dun & Bradstreet is pleased to join forces with The Microsoft Network to deliver instant access to information electronically," says Frank S. Sowinski, executive vice president of Marketing and Analytical Services. "Using MSN, D&B will be able to expand its reach to potentially millions of businesses and consumers, who previously have not had direct access to our information. We believe our unique global capabilities are an excellent fit with this new medium."

The majority of D&B's content on MSN will be derived from its credit, marketing and purchasing information on more than 10 million U.S. businesses, as well as its worldwide database of 39 million establishments in more than 200 countries. Product offerings for specific geographic regions are also planned.

Companies use the risk-management information to assess a business' credit worthiness, predict the likelihood of timely payment, review a business' management background as well as its history and operations, monitor key accounts and analyze a company's financial strength.
