Duke University Hospital Implements Canopy's Care Management Solution.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Canopy Systems, Inc.(TM), a leader in providing Web-based solutions for care management, announced today that Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina has implemented Canopy's Web-based care management solution.

Canopy uses the application service provider (ASP) model to provide utilization, case, and denial management applications across the continuum of care. Duke University Hospital chose Canopy(R) based on its ability to integrate the hospital's care management processes with the revenue recovery program. Duke University Hospital will use Canopy to streamline their care management workflow and provide an information repository that will be used to manage denials, optimize length of stay and monitor care management outcomes.
