In addition to the 140,000-square-foot office building, Renaissance Place will feature a five-story retail/condominium component consisting of 36 residential/condominium units, 18,500 square feet of retail space and a six-story parking garage. The project is slated for completion in the first half of 2006.

Lafayette Bank & Trust will occupy 72,000 square feet of the office tower; the 106-year-old financial institution will consolidate three downtown locations into its new headquarters. The bank's operations will be centered around a "21st Century Banking Center" featuring modern electronic and telephone banking conveniences along with a coffee bar, seating area and offices for private consultations with bank staff. The bank's insurance, title and investment partners will also be located in the ground floor office area, with trust offices on the second floor.
