CHARLOTTE -- Duke Energy ended its 14-year partnership with Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based engineering and construction company Fluor Daniel Daniel, book of the Bible
Daniel, book of the Bible. It combines "court" tales, perhaps originating from the 6th cent. B.C., and a series of apocalyptic visions arising from the time of the Maccabean emergency (167–164 B.C.
 following a drop in demand for new power plants. The joint venture completed 43 construction projects worldwide. A Duke spokesman says the company hopes to find jobs for most of the 300 employees.
