Duke Energy: Brent Bailey Named Associate General Counsel.


HOUSTON, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Duke Energy has named Brent C. Bailey associate general counsel. Bailey will serve as general counsel to Duke Energy Power Services (DEPS DEPS Division on Engineering and Physical Sciences (The National Academies)

), the Duke Energy subsidiary that develops, owns and operates electric generation projects across the United States.

Bailey joins the company from Enron Capital & Trade Resources Corp., in Houston where he was most recently senior counsel for the Electric Power group. Over the course of almost five years, he represented the interests of high-profile company subsidiaries such as Enron Power Marketing, Inc., and the managing partner of Richmond Power Enterprise, L.P. Previously, he was affiliated with several Houston law firms including Keck, Mahin & Cate, where he was a partner.
