The programme was held in collaboration with the Advanced Health Education Center (Ahec), a leading US-based education company, and DHCC, an integrated healthcare free zone and a member of Tecom Investments.
The conference featured a series of workshops and hands-on sessions on women's health such as ultrasound and mammography, cardio vascular ultrasound, nursing leadership and quality management.
Lectures, presentations and live scanning were demonstrated by Ahec experts to enable healthcare professionals attain excellence in delivery of quality patient care, and increase competency in their clinical skills.
Over 20 individual course options were offered to the 135 attendees who earned US ACCME ACCME Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education AMA PRA PRA - PRAgmatics.

In addition to women's health, mammography and ultrasound, the training also featured sessions on carotid ultrasound, including anatomy, hemodynamics, and diagnostic criteria.
In addition, the participants were also updated on ultrasound platform controls to optimize the system for the utmost convenience of the patients.
