Dubai and Abu Dhabi markets opened down this morning.

Dubai, 30 Sept: The financial markets in the United Arab Emirates United Arab Emirates, federation of sheikhdoms (2005 est. pop. 2,563,000), c.30,000 sq mi (77,700 sq km), SE Arabia, on the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.  began their trading on new low as the Dubai Financial Market Index fell by about 1%, while the Abu Dhabi's index fell less than one percent shortly.

The Dubai index opened at 2142 points down by about 20 points from the level it closed yesterday.

On the other hand Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi (ä`b thä`bē, zä–, dä–), Arab. Abu Zabi, sheikhdom (1995 pop. 928,360), c.  opened at 3104 points, down by 0.73% after losing 23 points from yesterday's closing level.
