The Chairman of Dubai World, Mr. Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem is recognized as one of the leading businessmen of Dubai.

Sol Kerzner Solomon (Sol) Kerzner (born 23 August 1935) is a South African hotel and gambling magnate.

Kerzner was born in Troyeville, Johannesburg, the youngest of four children to Jewish Russian immigrants.
, chairman and chief executive of Kerzner International, leading international developer and operator of destination resort and luxury hotels, presented the award to Bin Sulayem at the 5th edition of Ahic.

"We strongly believe that the hospitality and tourism sectors, which have gained immensely from years of investment flow, will continue to play their leading roles as engines of growth in the future," said Bin Sulayem.

The Dubai World chairman was chosen for the award on the basis of online nominations made by Ahic's 50-strong advisory board of key industry leaders.

"The award recognises Bin Sulayem's dedication to the growth of the investment sector in the region and his efforts in helping to put Arabia on the global map through his steadfast role at Dubai World," added Jonathan Worsley, co-organiser of Ahic.

Bin Sulayem other honours include Honorary Doctorate by UK-based Middlesex University Sources:
