    'Leading Woman CEO' award was judged on the basis of the individual's achievements, active engagements, career path, leadership and decision making ability, strategic management skills, corporate philanthropy and other inspirational stories that may have led to the company's growth.

    "It is an honour to receive this award, which I share with my family and my amazing team at Dubai Healthcare City who inspire me on a daily basis in our efforts realize our vision of creating a healthcare legacy that we can all be proud of," said an elated Dr Ayesha after receiving the award.

    A member of Tecom Investments, Dubai Healthcare City, said 58 per cent of its workforce are women.

    "We have proactively implemented a number of best-in-class policies and practices that support the recruitment, retention and personal development of talented women, resulting in positive outcomes for the whole business," she noted.

    "Programs like Women in Leadership play a vital role in encouraging women to realize their full potential. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Princess Haya for her continued efforts in inspiring women from all sectors and sections of society," she added.

    Dr Ayesha is an 18-year veteran of the healthcare and engineering industries. She is responsible for driving Dubai Healthcare City's strategic objectives, planning and operational delivery, developing new businesses, and managing strategic healthcare partners.
