Carl Zeiss (September 11, 1816 – December 3, 1888) was an optician commonly known for the company he founded, Zeiss. Industrial Measuring Technology are capable of capturing surface and contour values with a single measuring run. The combination of a roughness sensor with a large deflection range is the heart of the instruments. Surface and contour data can be recorded in one step with one stylus stylus: see pen.
