DuPont Photomasks Names Kevin P. Hegarty to Board of Directors.

ROUND ROCK, Texas -- DuPont Photomasks, Inc. (Nasdaq:DPMI), a leading global supplier of microimaging solutions, today announced that Kevin P. Hegarty has been named to the Company's board of directors. Hegarty's appointment has increased DuPont Photomasks' board from eight to nine members. He will also serve as an additional member on the Company's audit committee.

Hegarty's career has spanned 25 years in financial accounting and management positions in both public and private enterprises. Hegarty is currently vice president and chief financial officer at The University of Texas at Austin having been named to this post in 2001. In this role he oversees the University's $1.5 billion annual budget and the management of its accounting, finance, payroll, business contracts and procurement operations. Prior to joining The University of Texas at Austin, Hegarty's career included positions as vice president and chief financial officer of Dell Financial Services and vice president and corporate controller of Dell Inc. A certified public accountant, Hegarty is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the boards of the Texas Exes Alumni Association, Ezenia! Inc., a provider of real-time collaboration solutions, and Huston-Tillotson College. Hegarty holds a bachelor's in business administration in accounting and a master's in professional accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
