DuPont Agriculture & Nutrition. (At Closing People).
J. Erik Fyrwald is named group vice president of DuPont Agriculture
& Nutrition, Wilmington, Del. The business group includes DuPont
Crop Protection, Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., and DuPont
Nutrition & Health, which comprises The Solae Company, DuPont
Qualicon, Liqui-Box and Food Industry Solutions. Fyrwald is currently
vice president and general manager of DuPont Nutrition & Health, a
position he assumed in September 2000. He joined DuPont in 1981 and has
held a variety of sales, marketing and management positions for
DuPont's engineering polymers and automotive businesses. Concurrent
with Fyrwald's appointment, Des Moines, Iowa, will become the new
headquarters of DuPont Agriculture & Nutrition.
