DuPont, manufacturer of Corian based in Wilmington, DE, announced that it has purchased the assets of Guanghou Montelli Material Technology Corp., a solid surface business located in China.

DuPont, manufacturer of Corian based in Wilmington, DE, announced that it has purchased the assets of Guanghou Montelli Material Technology Corp., a solid surface business located in China. DuPont's acquisition includes two manufacturing plants that employ about 400 people. "Our plan is to utilize the acquired assets to continue to supply solid surfacing products at a variety of price points in the (China) market," said K. Nigel Budden, director of DuPont surfaces.
