 (Ecstasy) summarizes current information on the effects, prevalence, trafficking, and production of the designer drug MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine). MDMA, also known as "ecstasy," is used predominantly at all-night dance parties known as "raves," but its use is moving to such other settings as private homes, high schools, college dorms, and shopping malls.
