Seagate Technology (company) Seagate Technology - A major manufacturer of hard disk drives, founded in 1979 as "Shugart Technology" by Alan F. Shugart and Finis Conner. That name is on the original patents for the 5.25" hard disk drive.  (www.seagate.com) has developed a hard drive with the ability to store up to 40 Gbytes of data For use in vehicle applications. The EE25 drive can withstand operating temperatures between -30 to 85 degrees C, with the ability to withstand vibration interruptions. The company is currently testing the drive with an undisclosed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  for use on a variety of infotainment (INFOrmation enterTAINMENT) Refers to all the information and entertainment services delivered to the home, which are essentially telephone, TV and Internet access.  systems, including navigation and diagnostics (1) Software routines that test hardware components (memory, keyboard, disks, etc.). Diagnostics are often stored in ROM chips and activated on startup.

(2) Error messages in a programmer's source code that refer to statements or syntax that the compiler or assembler
, with potential availability in a non-U.S. branded vehicle in the next 18 months.
