Drivers on phone face cam blitz; SAFETY.

SPEED cameras will be used to catch drivers using mobiles or not wearing their seatbelts.

But under a pilot scheme offenders will get warning letters rather than fines.

If successful, it will be introduced throughout Kent from next year.

Safety Camera Partnerships (SCP) were Local Government-based organisations, set up in the United Kingdom as part of The National Safety Camera Scheme.
, said: "For every 100 people, 10 may not be wearing their seatbelts.

"It is unacceptable. We hope a letter will be enough to send a message that we will not tolerate people using a phone or driving without a seatbelt."

But some motorists hit out at the scheme.
