The Allstate Corporation NYSE: ALL is the largest publicly held personal lines insurer in the United States.
 conducted the "You Are What You Drive" survey to examine what is important to drivers when shopping for auto insurance, and to compare how people describe themselves as drivers with their reported driving behaviors. The survey found that the vast majority of drivers believe they are good drivers although some of them also admit to driving fast or aggressively. For the survey, RoperASW interviewed 2,500 car owners online from Aug. 8 to 15, 2003.
