To cause damage to; impair. 3. a teenage boy has been jailed for 13 months. Uzair Zuber was speeding when he hit the 15-year-old, who was on a pedestrian crossing, throwing him against a bus stop. But the 22-year-old continued driving to his uncle's garage, where he worked. It was his uncle who later called police and took Zuber to a police station. Passing sentence yesterday, Sheriff Kenneth Maciver said the public had to be protected from Zuber, who was also banned from driving for five years. The Clio has seen substantial critical and commercial success, being consistently one of Europe's top-selling cars since its at around 38mph in a 30mph limit area. At Edinburgh Sheriff Court earlier this month, he admitted driving dangerously at excessive speed and failing to report the accident.
