Firewall for hard drives blocks current and unknown threats

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- DriveSentry Inc. today launches the first firewall for hard drives to protect consumers' Personal Data from attack, without the need for software upgrades or the latest patch. Unlike conventional security measures that rely on signatures or behavioral analysis of viruses, Trojans and malware to identify threats, DriveSentry proactively detects all unauthorized writes to a drive and isolates them in real-time.
