The company, run by managing director Willem van Hoorn and technical director Wayne Hayes, produces Xtream, a range of spring-water-based drinks containing the naturally-occurring fibre Inulin inulin /in·u·lin/ (in´ul-in) a starch occurring in the rhizome of certain plants, yielding fructose on hydrolysis, and used in tests of renal function. in·u·lin n. . Mr van Hoorn said: "We are very happy to establish our business in South Tyneside and we hope to create 24 jobs."
