Temex Resources Corp. began its summer drill program in the Temiskaming region.

A July 18 news release states the diamond drilling Diamond Drilling is a highly specialized industry used for mineral exploration around the world. As part of a $750,000 Initial program exploration budget, it is the first drill program under the Participation Agreement with Teck Cominco Teck-Cominco TSX | TCK.B[1], NYSE: TCK) is a Canadian mining company. It was formed from the amalgamation of Teck and Cominco in 2001.

Cominco started in 1906 as The Consolidated Mining and Smelting Company of Canada, formed by the amalgamation of several Limited, previously announced in Dec. 2005.

Temex land holdings total more than 125,000 acres.

This encompasses areas west and east and 50 kilometres south of the Timiskaming kimberlite kimberlite: see diamond.
