Wosepka remains as a portfolio manager for the Fund. The Dreyfus Corporation ("Dreyfus") continues to be the investment adviser for the Fund. Ms. Bater has been employed by Dreyfus since July 2007. She is Director of High Yield Strategies of Standish Mellon Asset Management, LLC ("Standish"), an affiliate of Dreyfus, responsible for managing Standish's High Yield portfolios. She joined Standish in July 2007 from Gartmore Global Investments. Prior to Gartmore, Ms. Bater was a portfolio manager at CoresStates Investment Advisors. Ms. Bater has a B.S. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University Pennsylvania State University, main campus at University Park, State College; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1855, opened 1859 as Farmers' High School. and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) An experienced financial analyst who has passed examinations in economics, financial accounting, portfolio management, security analysis, and standards of conduct given by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts. . Mr. Barris has been employed by Dreyfus since July 2007. He is the High Yield Sector Strategist of Standish's High Yield portfolios and Senior Analyst for Corporate Bonds, responsible for coverage of gaming, lodging, technology and the autos sectors. He joined Standish in 2005 from State Street Research & Management, where he served as a high yield analyst. Prior to that, Mr. Barris worked for Credit Suisse First Boston Credit Suisse First Boston was originally the trading name of the Financière Crédit Suisse-First Boston, a London-based 50-50 investment banking joint venture formed in 1978 between the First Boston Corporation and Credit Suisse.
