Dreams. (Our Own Pages).

Dreams

   I look across a deep blue sea;
   A sailor I would like to be,
   Or a captain even better yet,
   With a rainbow parrot for a pet.

   I'd make my way to foreign lands,
   And come ashore on golden sands.
   With the natives I would share my goods,
   And with them eat exotic foods.

   But here I lie upon my bed,
   With sparkling visions in my head
   Of nobles, princesses, and kings,
   All sailing on a sea of dreams.
