Dream Lab program fosters creativity. (Items of Interest).


Dream Lab is a ten-week artist residency An artist residency is a program where artists are given space to live or work for some time at reduced or no cost. . It is based on themes portrayed in the new Giant Screen film Pulse: a STOMP Odyssey, a film highlighting creative expression around the world.

Students in fifteen cities across America will participate, working with scores of students in fourth- through eighth-grade classes to develop creative pieces exploring the heritage of rhythm, improvisation, creativity and innovation. An association that is given tax-free status. Donations to a non-profit organization are often tax deductible as well.

Notes:
Examples of non-profit organizations are charities, hospitals and schools.
 for arts education, Dream Lab was developed for public schools that have at least a 50 percent minority student population. Dream Lab students will screen Pulse free of charge at the beginning of the program to inspire their Dream Lab classroom projects. After completion of their projects, Dream Lab students will showcase their work to fellow students, parents, educators and community leaders.

 school in January, will expand in four additional cities when the film debuts in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Columbus and Dallas, and will expand further to fifteen U.S. cities over the next three years.
