Draw me peace. (Giveaways and Grants).
UNESCO UNESCO - United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (since 1945; Paris, France) (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) is sponsoring an art contest to promote peace. Children ages four to seven are asked to draw or paint an original, six-picture story illustrating one or more of these themes: respect for all life, sharing, non-violence, listening to understand, preserving the planet, and tolerance and solidarity. The art will be viewable online and could appear in publications or exhibitions. Two winners per age group (ages 4-5 and ages 6-7) will be chosen to receive prizes suited to their school's needs.
