Dragon Systems introduces natural speech solutions to new markets.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 2, 1997--Dragon Systems Inc., of Newton, Mass., today announced its corporate vision and new natural speech capabilities under "The Natural Speech Company" umbrella, at a press conference held at the World Trade Center.

The company introduced a revolutionary breakthrough in continuous speech recognition with the announcement of its large vocabulary, general purpose, continuous dictation product, Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Additionally, a number of natural speech solutions were demonstrated, including Dragon PhoneQuery, a custom telephony solution, as well as speech output and the tools needed to build interactive dialogue systems.
