Dr. Seuss characters come to life in cast bronze sculptures by A.R.T. Research Enterprises. (North America).

The Cat in the Hat. The Grinch. Horton the Elephant.

The stars of Dr. Seuss' children's books are being brought to life by A.R.T, Research Enterprises, Lancaster, Pennsylvania Lancaster, is a city in the South Central part of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is the county seat of Lancaster County. With a population of 55,351,[1] it is the 8th largest city in Pennsylvania, behind Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Erie, Reading, . The five large cast sculptural installations are displayed in Springfield, Massachusetts Springfield is a city in Massachusetts, United States. It is the county seat of Hampden County.GR6

In the 2000 census, the city population was 154,082.
, as part of a Dr. Suess monument,

"Bronze gives rebirth to a plaster original," said Mike Cunningham, co-owner of A.R.T., who is casting the pieces. "When you add patina to the piece, then it ultimately reflects the artist's true intent."

 is the stepdauther of the late Ted Geisel, also known as Dr. Seuss. "These sculptures represent Ted's heart and soul," she said. "I want people to feel that it really is The Grinch come to life in bronze,"

A.R.T. also has cast the Times Capsule at the American Museum of Natural History American Museum of Natural History, incorporated in New York City in 1869 to promote the study of natural science and related subjects. Buildings on its present site were opened in 1877.  and the sculpture of American Patriot George Mason at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

A.R.T. cast three massive pieces for the Dr. Seuss monument, including Horton Court, which measures 40 x 60 ft and features Horton, Sam I Am, Thidwick the Big Hearted Moose, Thing 1 and Thing 2. It also cast a sculpture of Geisel with The Cat in the Hat.

The other massive sculpture, titled "Storyteller," is a 10 x 16 ft version of Dr. Seuss' last book, Oh, The Places You'll Go, and features The Grinch and his dog along with an oversized o·ver·size

The pieces were publicly unveiled at the Springfield Library and Museums Quadrangle quadrangle
