Dr. Mitchell Resnick Joins HealthAmerica and HealthAssurance as Medical Director, Western Pennsylvania.PITTSBURGH -- Mitchell Resnick, D.O., M.B.A., has accepted the position of medical director for HealthAmerica and HealthAssurance's western Pennsylvania region. In this role, Dr. Resnick will manage medical affairs in western Pennsylvania, including responsibility for the medical administration of Advantra, HealthAmerica's Medicare Advantage plan.
Prior to joining HealthAmerica, Dr. Resnick served as medical director for Cigna/Intracorp in Pittsburgh. He was also a practicing internist with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care for nine years.
