Dr. Harari has been chief executive officer of SanDisk since 1988, when he founded the Sunnyvale-based company with his colleagues, Sanjay Mehrotra and Jack Yuan. In 1994, SanDisk invented and produced the first flash memory card to be marketed, the CompactFlash([R]) cards. Today, SanDisk has grown to be the world's largest supplier of innovative flash storage cards.
Dr. Harari, a recognized authority on non-volatile memory technology, has been a driving force in the electronics industry for over 30 years, and holds more than 100 U.S. and foreign patents.
