Dr. Bray previously led an industry-driven international program of several hundred international studies of HIV/AIDS therapy, including over a hundred conducted in developing countries. She has been involved in multiple international research programs including the DART trial, the largest HIV HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), either of two closely related retroviruses that invade T-helper lymphocytes and are responsible for AIDS. There are two types of HIV: HIV-1 and HIV-2. CytoDyn is developing Cytolin[R], targeted immune therapy for HIV/AIDS that is designed to restore immune function and that has produced encouraging data in pilot clinical trials.
