 services, today announced that Dr. Brian Fisher has joined CRA as Vice President and Director of the firm's Economic and Policy Analysis practice in Canberra, Australia. Dr. Fisher will be responsible for further developing that practice's activities in economic policy work for both public and private sector clients.

Dr. Fisher is one of Australia's leading economists. In addition to his exceptional academic career, Dr. Fisher has served as Executive Director of the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE), is located in Canberra, Australia. ABARE, established in 1945,[1] is an Australian government economic research agency, it is also involved in commercial consultancy.  for 17 years. Dr. Fisher has been a leading figure in the debate on climate change and its impact on the Australian economy. In 1993, he was appointed as one of the experts assessing the socioeconomic impact of climate change for the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change “IPCC” redirects here.
