Originating as Microsoft Proxy Server, ISA 2004. GFI DownloadSecurity for ISA Server 2004 is a content security product that handles the security risk of file downloads without resorting to blocking them all at firewall level. GFI DownloadSecurity content checks downloaded files for malicious content and viruses, and enables administrators to assert control over which files users download from HTTP HTTP in full HyperText Transfer Protocol Standard application-level protocol used for exchanging files on the World Wide Web. HTTP runs on top of the TCP/IP protocol. and FTP sites.
