Dow to increase ethanolamines production.


Due to the increasing global demand for ethanolamines, The Dow (Direct OverWrite) See magneto-optic disk.  Chemical Co., Midland, MI, has announced that it is evaluating a number of investment options to increase capacity of the product. Expanding an existing ethanolamines facility in Hahnville, LA, and adding ethanolamine ethanolamine /eth·a·nol·amine/ (eth?ah-nol´ah-men) monoethanolamine.

 capacity in the Asia Pacific region are two options Dow is considering. Currently, Dow's participation in the Asia Pacific region is in the form of a 75,000-metric ton ethanolamine unit at the OPTIMAL Chemicals Sdn.
