, Midland, MI, will be expanding the MDI (1) (Multiple Document Interface) A Windows function that allows an application to display and lets the user work with more than one document at the same time.  production capacity at its Freeport, TX, plant by 50% over the next 36 months. When completed, the increase will account for an additional 250 million pounds of name-plate capacity per year of MDI manufactured at the Freeport site. This expansion plan follows the production increase at Dow's MDI plant in Estarreja, Portugal, that was announced in September of 2006. These two production expansions will significantly increase Dow's global MDI capacity.
