Dow declares force majeure on Ethyleneamines, PXC.

The Dow Chemical Company is currently the second largest chemical manufacturer in the World (after BASF)[1].
, Midland, MI, has declared force majeure for all of its products produced at its facilities at St. Charles Operations in Hahnville, LA, due to the impact of Hurricane Katrina.

The affected products are Ethyleneamines, which are produced by Union Carbide, a wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary

A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock.

In other words, the parent company owns the company outright and there are no minority owners.

The PXC products include Cyracure[TM] cycloaliphatic epoxides, Flexol[TM] epoxidized soybean soybean, soya bean, or soy pea, leguminous plant (Glycine max, G. soja, or Soja max) of the family Leguminosae (pulse family), native to tropical and warm temperate regions of Asia, where it has been  and linseed oils, and Tone[TM] polyols, polymers, monomers. Officials do not now how long the force majeure will last.
