Dow Jones Newswires Announces Retail Distribution Agreement With Inlumen; Agreement Enables Inlumen to Provide Additional Dow Jones Services to Customers.

Dow Jones Newswires Dow Jones Newswires is the real-time financial news organization owned by Dow Jones. Founded in 1882, its primary competitors are Bloomberg L.P. and Reuters. The company reports more than 420,000 subscribers -- including brokers, traders, analysts and fund managers -- as of July  announced today that it has signed a global retail distribution and integration agreement with Inlumen, Inc. The new agreement extends the Inlumen (formerly NewsAlert) and Dow Jones Newswires relationship, which began with a software developer agreement more than a decade ago. Now, Inlumen will not only be able to build custom solutions with Dow Jones news, but will be able to distribute more Dow Jones services directly to more customers. The agreement also allows Inlumen to market Dow Jones Newswires' products as part of Inlumen's customized solutions for a client's Web site or an integrated market data package.
