Dow Jones Newsletters starts new pubs; DJ Newswire launches training program.

Dow Jones Newsletters (Jersey City, NJ), a division of Dow Jones, and OsterDowJones (Lombard, IL), a joint venture between Oster Communications and Dow Jones Newswires, have launched two newsletters, including OsterDowJones Cocoa Report and OsterDowJones Essential Coffee.

Both of the new subscription titles will be published weekly and both will include coverage of the week's top stories and markets from key producing regions. Published every Wednesday, Cocoa Report reports on the physical markets in West Africa, Asia and Europe, and on the European cocoa butter market. It also includes news for the confectionary industry, including sugar news, markets and prices.

Essential Coffee, published every Friday, complies news from Brazil, Columbia, Vietnam, Mexico, London, Singapore, Kenya and Uganda, and carries weekly reports on cash markets with prices. OsterDowJones senior editor Nick Elliott said the new publications "bring market relevant information and data to a new audience in a streamlined format."

In related news, Dow Jones Newswires has launched a training program for its real-time equities news and information product, Dow Jones News Service. The online training program for financial professinals will provide tips for targeting specific news and Dow Jones content. The program is free. DJ said the program is designed to help brokers, analysts, traders, institutional salespeople and asset managers use the service more efficiently as they make market decisions and respond to customer inquiries.
