Internationally, The Wall Street Journal Europe's linage increased 14.3% (3.9% per issue) in November, with year-to-date linage down 2.2% (3.0% per issue). The Asian Wall Street Journal's linage increased 29.8% (18.0% per issue), with year-to-date linage down 3.1% (3.5% per issue). Two additional publishing days along with an increase in general advertising drove November's increase in advertising for both the European and Asian Journals. At Ottaway Newspapers, advertising linage declined 3.5% primarily due to there being one less Sunday in November 2004 compared to November 2003. Year-to-date same property advertising linage at Ottaway was up 4.0% over the prior year.
