Dow Chemical, Midland, MI, and Basell, Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, have reached an agreement on the sale of the Basell polypropylene polypropylene (pŏl'ēprō`pəlēn), plastic noted for its light weight, being less dense than water; it is a polymer of propylene.
