Organization owned by and operated for the benefit of those using its services. Cooperatives have been successful in such fields as the processing and marketing of farm products and the purchasing of other kinds of equipment and raw materials, and in the
 arrangements that will give farmers new technology options and more choice in the products to meet their needs.

Under this agreement:

* Dow and Monsanto cross licensed intellectual property and product licenses in corn and soybeans on a non-exclusive basis.

* Dow and Monsanto also established cross licenses of cotton technologies on a non-exclusive basis.

* Dow and Monsanto also established non-exclusive cross licenses of certain enabling technologies.

The companies agreed to settle outstanding legal disputes.
