There are always a number of excellent Dover guides to choose from in the area of mythology and these latest releases are some winning reprints of classics. E. Nesbit's Book Of Dragons (0486436489, $6.95) provides some enchanting folk tales surrounding dragons and heroes who challenge them, reprinting a 1900 classic. An excellent set of classic tales. S.H. Hooke's Middle Eastern Mythology Middle East mythology is a set of mythologies developed in the ancient Near East (today's middle east). The mythlogies were mostly polytheistic with the exception of the monotheistic Abrahamic mythology and the short–lived Egyptian Atenism.  (048-6435512, $9.95) reprints a 1963 coverage discussing the role of mythology in ritual and images of the Middle East. Legends of Hittites, Egyptians and regional legends are all surveyed by a scholar who presents a documented discussion. Here it comes Here It Comes is the third EP from Doves. It was the last release on the band's Casino Records label on August 2, 1999 on limited CD and 10" vinyl. Martin Rebelski, the unofficial fourth member of Doves, plays piano on the title track.  again: Thomas Bulfinch's classic Medieval Methology: The Age Of Chivalry chivalry (shĭv`əlrē), system of ethical ideals that arose from feudalism and had its highest development in the 12th and 13th cent.  (04-86436536, $5.95): a coverage which explores ideals of chivalry in Medieval myths. From King Arthur King Arthur: see Arthurian legend.  to Robin Hood Robin Hood, legendary hero of 12th-century England who robbed the rich to help the poor. Chivalrous, manly, fair, and always ready for a joke, Robin Hood reflected many of the ideals of the English yeoman.  and more, these are a host of vigorous tales under one cover. Jeremiah Curtin's Native American Creation Myths (04864-37361, $14.95) reprints an 1989 treatise by myth collector Jeremiah Curtin, who gathered myths and tales in the course of his work with the Smithsonian Institution. Two myth cycles developed by the Wintu and Yana groups of Indians are described in detail in this special edition of rare ideas. Remember ghost story writer Oliver Onions? It's been quite some time since his The Beckoning Fair One (0486436-470, $5.95) first appeared in 1911, but the story was one of the first contributing to ghost stories and has been heralded by Lovecraft and Blackwood as one of the best in the English language. W.B. Yeats' The Celtic Twilight: Faerie And Folklore (0486436578, $6.95) returns a 1902 work to print and expands Yeats' familiar poetry edge with a focus on his Irish folklore. Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream A Midsummer Night's Dream is a romantic comedy by William Shakespeare written sometime in the 1590s. It portrays the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of amateur actors, their interactions with the Duke and Duchess of Athens, Theseus and Hippolyta, and  (0486428338, $14.95) receives noted illustrator Arthur Rackham's black and white and color illustratons throughout, returning a romantic comedy from 1908 to print complete with Rackham's signature embellishments. A gorgeous, affordable reprint of a classic.
