DoubleClick signs lease at 450 West 33rd Street.

), a leading Internet advertising Delivering ads to Internet users via Web sites, e-mail, ad-supported software and Internet-enabled cellphones. Also called an "ad network," Internet advertising organizations act as a middleman between the advertiser and the Web sites and software publishers that display the ads.  solutions firm, has signed a 10-year commitment for 150,000 square feet of office space at 450 West 33rd Street. The lease comprises the entire 12th and 16th floors of the 16-story, 1.4 million square-foot building located at 10th Avenue.

The transaction represents a consolidation and major expansion of space for DoubleClick, which currently occupies a total of approximately 65,000 square feet at 41 Madison Avenue Madison Avenue, celebrated street of Manhattan, borough of New York City. "We conducted an extensive search of the entire Manhattan market, as well as several areas outside of the city, because DoubleClick considered keeping its headquarters office in Manhattan and shifting the back office jobs to other locations.
