ROYAL Navy bosses were seeing double when they welcomed sisters Stephanie and Jane Broom aboard.

The women impressed their recruiting officer by completing their fitness test in the fastest time he had seen - and by finishing within one second of each other.

Geoff Jones said: "There was only a second between the pair of them and when I called them at twenty to eight in the morning to tell them the good news they were already out for a run."
