It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of Women's Agenda (NYWA NYWA New York Women's Agenda NYWA New York Women's Association ) to salute outstanding women selected by NYWA's member organizations for their leadership, intelligence, and commitment to their chosen fields. PWC president Lenore Janis, a White Plains native, said that the organization chose Beatrice Ortega because "She's an up and coming young woman in our industry with the knowledge, determination, and dedication to succeed in this highly competitive arena." Galaxy co-chairs Tina Segal and Jaci Canning-Murphy called the honorees "impressive" women who have become "a model to those around them." NYWA President Gina Bolden-Rivera congratulated 2003's Women of the Future and cheered them as "New York City New York City: see New York, city. New York City City (pop., 2000: 8,008,278), southeastern New York, at the mouth of the Hudson River. The largest city in the U.S. women of today and tomorrow!" The ceremony was held on May 20 at the New York Marriott Marquis New York Marriott Marquis Times Square at 1531-1549 Broadway opened in 1985 and was designed by architect John Portman.
