Doss Launches Wireless Speaker System with CD Player for Under $129.00.


TORRANCE, Calif. -- Doss launches the DS-220, a CD player with two wireless speakers, for under $129.00. The wireless system uses Bluetooth technology to transmit audio output to the speakers, making it easy to move and use the DS-220 in any location.

China-based Doss designs and manufactures speakers, speaker systems and home-theater-in-a-box systems for sale under its own brand name, and custom builds products within very short R&D cycles for its many OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  customers around the world. The DS-220 CD player, which is powered by one 20W amplifier, provides clear, crisp playback from media recorded in CD, CD-R (CD-Recordable) A writable CD technology using a type of compact disc that can be recorded, but not erased (CD-Rs are "write once" discs). The two Bluetooth 2.4G wireless speakers include 1 x 2" tweeters with a handling power of 10W each (impedance: 8 ohms, speaker frequency response: 200 Hz - 20 kHz), plus bass drivers capable of handling 30W each (impedance 8 ohms, speaker frequency response: 38 Hz - 300 Hz).
