Dorothy M. (Siwek) O'Connor, 80.


DUDLEY Dorothy M. (Siwek) O'Connor, 80, of 3 Lakeview Ave, died Tuesday, September 1 in Casey House hospice hospice, program of humane and supportive care for the terminally ill and their families; the term also applies to a professional facility that provides care to dying patients who can no longer be cared for at home. , Rockville, MD after a courageous battle with cancer. Her husband, William L. O'Connor Jr, died in 1989.

She leaves one daughter, Gail O'Connor of Germantown, MD; several cousins; and a host of friends and golfing partners.

She was born in Webster, MA, the daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Plasse) Siwek. She graduated from St Anne's Academy in Marlboro. Dorothy worked many years in the billing department at New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt.  Envelope in Worcester. Dorothy lived all her life in Dudley before moving to her daughter's due to her illness. Mrs. O'Connor was a member of St Anthony Of Padua Anthony of Padua

 Church. Dot was an avid golfer and a member of Dudley Hill Golf Club and enjoyed golfing in the Thursday women's league Women's League (in Swedish: Kvinnoligan) was a feminist organization in Sweden, based in Lund. It was founded in 1970. It consisted of autonomous basis units. Its policies were largely similar to Grupp 8.

The organization was dissolved in 1973.
 and club tournaments for many years.

Her funeral Mass will be FRIDAY, SEPT. 4 at 10:30 am in St Anthony Of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd, Dudley. Burial will follow in St Anthony Of Padua Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours are on Friday from 9 to 10 am at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave, Dudley, MA. In lieu of Instead of; in place of; in substitution of.
