She worked at DEC in Northborough for fifteen years and worked as an artist. Dorothy served as the New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt. Regional Coordinator for the Girl Scouts and was involved with the Boy Scouts as well. She also served as President of the Northborough Garden Club, President of the Northborough Womens Club as well as President of the Altar Society at Saint Rose of Lima. She also volunteered at Hahnemann Hospital. A private family service will be held in Saint Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main Street Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery.
