To include in the biblical canon. 3. Dorothy Day is now getting official with the Archdiocese of New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of forming a guild for her cause. The archdiocese planned a Mass commemorating the 25th anniversary of Day's death on November 27. The guild will work to spread information about, promote devotion to, and advance the cause of Day, co-founder of the Catholic Worker movement The Catholic Worker Movement is a Catholic organisation founded by Servant of God Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin in 1933. Its aim is to "live in accordance with the justice and charity of Jesus Christ. and a prominent figure in the peace movement. |
