Dorit Baehrens Joins Lexington Services as Independent Sales Representative for Europe.

Lexington Services, the Texas-based subsidiary of Travel Services International (Nasdaq:TRVL), announced Dorit Baehrens has joined the company as an independent sales representative.

From the company's new development office in Berlin, Baehrens will expand Lexington's client base, seeking new hotel members throughout Germany and Europe. In addition to outside sales, Baehrens' company (Dorit Baehrens Hotel Management Consulting) will provide specialized marketing, sales and full support services to Lexington's current hotel members in Germany and Europe.

Baehrens brings an extensive hotel background to the position with more than 14 years of experience in the hotel industry. Her career includes positions ranging from front desk and accounting to marketing and sales. Baehrens has worked for hotels in major cities including Los Angeles, Paris, Frankfurt and Berlin, and has worked for several hotel groups including Intercontinental, Sheraton, SRS World Hotels and the Esplanade Group, a German privately owned and managed hotel group. Baehrens holds a degree in hotel business.
