Dorian America and Drake America combine divisional names to form Dorian Drake International.

New Corporate Identity Reflects Expanded Resources and Capabilities

Dorian International, a leading privately held export management company, today announced that it has joined the names of its two divisions -- Dorian America and Drake drake

"The name change and accompanying change in corporate identity underscores that we have operationally integrated our two divisions," said Ed Dorian Sr., chairman and chief executive officer of Dorian Drake International. "It also reflects the addition of significantly expanded service capabilities across a broader range of industry categories and geographic locations," he added.

Dorian International was formed in 1980 to provide U.S. manufacturers with the management resources needed to take advantage of overseas market opportunities. Dorian acquired Drake America, a firm providing similar services, from Midland Bank Midland Bank was one of the Big Four banking groups in the United Kingdom. It is now part of HSBC. The bank was founded as the Birmingham and Midland Bank in Union Street, Birmingham, England in August 1836.  of England in 1985.
